Mr.Joel Berg has a very good point in the speech posted. He commented on how Americans are very happy to support big corporations who want to bring food around the world, however, people are against local farmers selling fresh produce in certain areas. Knowing your local farmer is a wonderful idea. Farmers markets are a great place to cash in food stamps of any kind because it shows that those people who require the governments assistance are making an effort and want to eat healthy and feed their families healthy foods. I believe that farmers markets are a great addition to the united states and everyone should buy some of their foods there.
